I'll take reasons why I don't sleep naked in a hotel bed for $1000, Alex....
By now you have heard the story about Alex Trebek tackling a would be robber. However there are few details that you may not be aware of....the robbery happened in a hotel...Alex was sleeping...and....well...before he chased the woman, yes a woman, he had to put on his underwear cause ladies and gentlemen......Alex Trebek sleeps naked. Now, I am not opposed to sleeping naked, some people like it, I've done it myself (yes, I know too much info). However what really gets me is that Alex was sleeping naked in a hotel bed. To me a hotel bed is the single most disgusting thing next to the floor of a public men's restroom. When I sleep in a hotel bed i wrap myself so tight in clothing that other than my hands and head there is no contact between the sheets and my skin. Alex doesn't see it this way however, he doesn't mind his entire body coming in contact with sheets and blankets that complete strangers have slept in and no doubt done "other things" as well! GROSS!!! Not to mention bed bugs!!! GROSS!!! It would be bad enough to be eaten alive by bed bugs on my arms and back...but...the other places they could get to if I was buck naked?????? NO THANKS!!!! I friggin' wear long johns under my PJ's when I sleep in a hotel bed!!! Hasn't Alex seen all the expose's where they take the black light and shine it on hotel sheets???? I am sure some even aired on the very network Alex works for!! Hell, maybe he even hosted one!!! Didn't ya pay attention??? Did it not sink in??? Did you not understand it cause it wasn't in the form of a question???? Well, if that's the case then Alex let me tell you straight out.....HOTEL SHEETS ARE GROSS!!!! Please put some kind of clothing on...oh and one more thing...what if there was a fire??? and you didn't have time to put your undies on???? Did you ever think if that??? "I'll take indecent exposure by game show hosts for $500, Alex".

Yes I do!!!
ReplyDeleteThe hotel sheets are washed frequently, probably more frequently than your home sheets. When you check into a hotel, you sleep on freshly washed sheets. It is the bedspread that may have come into contact with other people that hasn't been washed. As for bedbugs, they live in the mattresses, not the sheets. PJ's are not going to protect you against bedbugs.
ReplyDeletei get the whole disgusting hotel bed thing- lord knows i've seen a few. But we are talking about Alex Trebec here, I kind of doubt he is staying in a hotel room that is $500/less per night.
