Oh crap!

Ever since Hailey was born I have been trying to "clean up my act." Not that I was a terrible foul mouthed person before, but I certainly had no problem yelling the occasional "Oh Sh*t!" if I was frustrated putting some Ikea furniture together!! :) I definately now pay close attention to what I say around my daughter. Even when she's not around too. I think i have done a pretty good job...however the other day I realized I may not be doing as good a job as I think! Hailey was running around acting like the 3 year old that she is when she fell, and fell hard! Before any tears were shed, before she yelled for me or Mommy I heard...."Oh CRAP!" YIKES!!! Not something you wanna hear from your 3 year old! It was the first time we had ever heard her say it! of course, I know where she heard it! Mommy and I both say it! It's funny cause everytime we say it we always kinda scold the other person..."Don't say that around her!" Well, i guess we havent been doing a good enough job of keeping our potty mouths clean enough, because now Hailey said it! I couldn't get mad at her, but of course I did have to tell her that it's not a nice word to say etc etc....We havent heard it since, but that doesnt mean she hasnt said it! Funny how it really is monkey see, monkey do! Mommy and Daddy really have to watch our mouths...and behavior!
